Uncle Glenn's Story
Brain Tumor Awareness
GO GREY IN MAY!
In July 2019, Uncle Glenn Halfyard was diagnosed with what the surgeon classed as a low grade stage 2 tumor that measured 4 cm by 3 cm by 2.5 cm depth into the brain. The surgeon was certain that it is not cancer. The tumor was successfully removed on August 30, 2019 at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga. The same hospital where Priscilla's brain tumors were removed on October 31, 2014.
Over the past several years, Glenn has been outspoken about his faith. He assisted Priscilla in some very special healing prayer moments. He led Priscilla's family and friends as a true Master of Ceremonies at both her living funeral and her wedding.
Glenn is a very energetic hockey player and goalie, a well as a die-hard Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He is a strong family man and is often found playing cards with his brother, sisters, parents, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Glenn is an incredible, strong, faith-filled man who, like Priscilla, plants himself firmly in his faith and trust in God. He once again inspired his family and friends as he fought through this diagnosis, surgery and recovery period. We are thankful for his determination to serve God and share his story of healing with the world.
Glenn shared his incredible story of Faith and Recovery at Broadway Pentecostal Church only 2 weeks after his surgery took place.
